Cheers to my friends!

Cheers to my friends!

All my friends with me
sat to chat, and before
the first drink, they said, cheers;
I was the odd man to be
said nothing but to pour
the liquid in, with my dears.!

Taken aback, they said nothing
Me only drinking
They were to see...
Then all of a sudden, when i was tipsy
Cheers ran down and
The word maladroit
had to just pop out!

Stunned again, for a moment
Then they came off their seats
Hugged me I will never forget
no judgement, listened to my heart beats
And then those warm wet friends
Shouted cheers, in the middle without ends...

I broke the rules and said to them
I was sorry, but this became
the norm with us by then!

true and false

true and false

My body is light in water and heavy on the ground,
Either are true or none is the wonder waving around.
When I sail on a boat the clouds look so far untrue to me,
When I fly in the sky the boat I can’t even see.

Number thirteen is bad somewhere it is four,
We are all the same in the end as we have been before.
What is true is also false a real mystery,
Values, beliefs are there to be in frozen history.

eyeing

eyeing

There is a pond, in a garden I never found
The garden was big; it made the pond so small
The eyes searched for the water, in and around
When drops came off I drowned, my eyes found it all.

moving fever

moving fever

I have high fever
Which no thermometer can measure,
You are lying at ease breathing next to me,
Comfortable, unmoved in position you were on,
The soft hair curtains your visage I can’t fully see,
Your eyes closed popping up like corns;
The same hair has covered your juicy lips,
Yet some pink is oozing out of poor eclipse.
Eyes hop or know to move, my nob’s turning around,
The radio now shouldn’t touch for any moaning sound.
To and fro high and low through your body beside,
Fever inside is moving me with the heat outside.

rust

rust

there is rust everywhere
from the pen to the peg
there is no trust
we left what we felt as life which is in file
we spit on the spot plenty of tips for those without tops
what is historic is hysteric in fact
there’s none to lead without a deal a tact
the dean of the globe to need a probe
we sent to the nest a message to torment the mentor
there the trust whisks away in twisted words
that turn it sediments the dust
to rust the pen hanging in the nagging peg

kneading the dough

kneading the dough

We are kneading the dough,
Not with anger but with love,
With water of mercy though,
For feeding us; over and above.

We press it through thick and thin,
With a song of peace that adds to the taste,
Strength so soft it needs within,
Gently we finger; not any haste.

Look at the dough so nicely done,
Come let’s cook it or bake it for fun,
Hatred and hunger we do delete,
All are happy; all replete.

mystery in the mundane

mystery in the mundane

communication is vocal
yet non-verbal
no words needed no cues
it's the silent face with vibrant vocal clues
i talk to my pet with hands and my voice
letters in the litter without a choice
truth is in sound and wordless silence
i find sanity in this fleeting madness
here if a reader ever passes by
take to the feelings to the words bidding bye

Language will arrive

Language will arrive

Language is locked.  Would soon go into the woods
To the brooks, to the mountains, to the snow
To the sun and the moon, to the rain for its flow;
From the grass and the tree,
Will arrive on the bed with its expressing key.

Is far too clever for me
A foolproof place with horrible mess
With wrath and ego that’s never to go
With 'clannism' and racism cannibalising fools
I came here…

Hit it! Hurt it!
O hell…
Hail to this heart.
It's healing!

where I learnt and had grown;
In the air I saw the gap
of the love that was shown.

In the space i didn't look
if it was a curse or a boon;
In the leap that I took
from the mountain to the moon.

Teaser

Teaser

How long will the seat remain on the ground?
It should be floating by now,
Could be on windy air or warm water around!
Neither will it prevent,
Nor allow.

It is full with beings,
Ears covered with stings,
Eyes closed with thoughts,
Knees marked
With bruised knots.

Mind has borrowed scratches in turn,
Legs limping without work to earn,
Hands heavy pushing the wall of dissent,
Tooth and claw crippled
With words thrown and sent

El Dorado and Xanadu have lost their ways to Eden?
The seat so still somehow carrying on and on,
Nothing gained nothing lost in the bargain!
Beggars begging beggars everywhere,
Without a drop of corn.

Role to play

Role to play

You have a role to play if you so long.
Puppets are the actors,
Frozen white and strong;
In silence
Audience,
Go to alter the authors.

Don’t sit and see Othello and Meursault
Kill Desdemona and the Arab,
Reason is out of dais you can’t even grab;
Don’t let the Montague and the Capulet,
In the confused and helpless hamlet,
Fight for nonsense; Audience!
Lovers, innocents kill and strangle to death,
Like you they too need their space and their breath,
You have watched so far with popcorn and coke
Bickering and simmering your bubbles did choke.

Hey audience! Are you there? Heard the poet screech?
‘Up! Up! my Friend, and quit your books;
Or surely you'll grow double:
Up! Up! my Friend and clear your looks;
Why all this toil and trouble!’

Off your seat-belts now and on to the stage!
Written word is here, out and off the page
Save the couples now and all those timid players
Who kill and breed killers with victimized rage!
The curtain falls; the audience sees
They are on the stage with countless layers
Actors with audience melting at ease
Released right inside their same old cage!

Go to alter the authors.
Audience,
In silence
Frozen white and strong;
Puppets are the actors,
You have a role to play if you so long.
